ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Monday said that any official action by a government functionary without the prior approval of the government was unconstitutional and illegal.
In an interview to a Chinese newspaper, Prime Minister Gilani referred to the observation of Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry that any act of a government functionary without the government’s nod is unconstitutional and therefore illegal.
PM Gilani pointed out that the responses given by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and DG ISI Ahmed Shuja Pasha to the Supreme Court in connection to the alleged memo controversy did not contain the approval of the competent authority as required.
No summary seeking approval of a competent authority was initiated by the Ministry of Defence, nor was any approval obtained from the defence minister in this regard.
The Prime Minister stated that in two simultaneous issues, one relating to the Nato attack on Pakistani borders and the other relating to a letter written by an American national to another American, the civil and military leadership of Pakistan held detailed meetings and took immediate decisions.

bahi this is pakistan , every thing is done by estabalisment and army and they are hand in hand and have family relationship with each other. now just look problem of balochistan and killing of balochi youth are discuss in islamabad and lahore and karachi, sheikh rasheed hamed can not win one seat but u see this guy in every programme giving lecture of democary, andn now telling that ,pakhtoon are also in balochistan and they are not against pakistan and are very patriotic. same story as only mohajirs are not in karaci pakhtoon and punjabis are also . this game is going on for long and i think will end on blood bath .people of karachi depriev of their right becuae pakhtton punjabis are there and they need there hessa. same story now coming up from islamabad and lahore that pakhtoon are also in balochistan

all these armys paid or patriotic punjabi, journalist are saving army and diverting from killing of balochs. now this dumhead saleem bukhari and soon u will hear from other same story that baloch are not the only one in balochistan pakhtoon also live there. that is why bahi fazlu has being giving so much importance since benazir period, he is alway with army and agencys and now anp also hand shake with army , to make karachi situation like balochistan

pakistna is the country where . army is god , army is prophet and army is holy book. so being a punjabi mean u own these land of sindh , balochistan and this is ur birth right to govern these land.

Though I am retiree but i am not in favor of these kind of statements which are degrading our supreme organizations. No one is superior than justice court. Else we don't need supreme court then. Why not PM make decisions and give justice?
